		<description>I suspect that the high packet rate of a VoIP call (20ms intervals for RTP) is chowning the wireless chipset on the airport. This is pretty easy to test, you can simulate a VoIP packet rate using a laptop on the wireless and then doing some simple ping tests to compare.

# ping -i 0.02 -c 500 -q [router_ip]

Most wireless AP&#039;s are NOT capable of handling the high packet rate of VoIP calls. If you have SIP / QoS functionality turned on the Airport, I would turn it off. Anything that requires some sort of packet inspection is just going to slow down the packets. Hope that helps.
