About your 2004 TSX (which I also own), do you know if there is a way/adapter to use the navigation screen as a DVD function (playing DVD's to show picture on the screen and sound through the speakers)?

So how do I get to the Harmon/Kardon post? I'm trying to get a copy of the AVR 125 service manual. The Digital outputs seem to have gone out and I think I have blown the resistors to the aux power supply mentioned here http://www.fixya.com/support/t362649-no_output

<a href="#comment-3516" rel="nofollow">@Jaco Chicorel</a>

Yeah, there's no way around it. Both Time Warner and Cox will charge to send a Tech to your house to install the Cable Card. All they'll do is install the card, get the ID from the card and call it in to activate it.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH, I have no idea why they'd charge for it. I mean, they mail you a DVR and trust you'll set that up okay, yet a cable card is just TOOOOOO much.

It's total bullcrap. :P

Hey Eric,

'm here in San Diego as well and I just read your article "Why I love my HD Tivo and why Cox sucks.." from 2007. Reading your words helped take the a bit of the sting out of my recent dealings with Cox. Similar story (I just ordered a HD unit from Tivo) only now they want $75!! Honestly, as you said, what - the - fuck is up with that!?!
I'm desperate to find out if you know of any way around this. Is the only way to get my Tivo to work with Cox to pay their punitive extortion? You mention to simply say your returning the box and want 2 cards. Will they just send them???
Thanks Eric,
-Jaco

Eric,

your site is great, thank you.

I used to work for Harman International, the parent company of Harman Kardon, and I can not even get the info that you have. pretty lousy huh. anyways I am no means a repair guru, with that said, do you have a manual that will help me trouble shoot avr 635, the sm you have listed gives all the electrical data, but no trouble shooting. the receiver shuts off after 30 seconds.

thanks for all your help and keep up the good work.
